OMAG LELA Training Series

OMAG is excited to announce the dates for Class 4 of the OMAG Law Enforcement Liability Avoidance (LELA) Training Series. This is an intensive, CLEET-accredited*, program focused on law enforcement liability. Designed for select law enforcement personnel across Oklahoma, this class provides in-depth instruction on both common and emerging legal challenges facing officers today.
Beginning July 30, 2025, Class 4 will consist of three sessions that focus on Fourth Amendment topics, including traffic stops, use of force, arrests, searches, entries, and post-incident reviews. Each session features traditional classroom training supported by real-world materials such as case law and body camera footage to deliver practical, scenario-based learning.

All sessions will take place at OMAG in Edmond, OK.
Class 4 is $150/per student, this fee will be waived for OMAG members. This fee is due at Session 1 on July 30, 2025.
First line supervisors and command staff of any Oklahoma Police Department are encouraged to apply.
OMAG requires your commitment to participation in a LELA Class 4 Kick-off conference call, in-person attendance and participation at each Session, completion of each pre-Session assignment, and completion of each post-Session survey.
At each session you attend, you will receive CLEET credit, lunch, educational materials, and training from savvy, experienced legal professionals dedicated to helping Oklahoma law enforcement.
Upon completion of all session requirements, you will receive a Certificate of Completion and a unique OMAG LELA Training Series challenge coin.
You must complete the online application by May 15, 2025. Class 4 is limited in size and OMAG will select students based on the information provided in the online application.
