Letters of interest: board vacancy

OMAG is accepting letters of interest from qualified municipal officials for a current vacancy on the Board of Trustees. As a member-owned risk pool, OMAG depends on Trustees who bring real municipal experience to the table — if you're an elected or appointed officer of an OMAG member municipality, we want to hear from you.

Send your letter to elections@omag.org no later than September 10, 2026. Submitting a letter does not guarantee appointment; the Board of Trustees retains discretion under the Agreement Establishing OMAG.
Trustee nominations & election
Two positions on the Board of Trustees are filled by election to three-year terms beginning July 1. The present office holders whose terms expire are:
- Mr. Craig Stephenson, City Manager of the City of Ponca City
- Current vacant position
The remaining members of the Board of Trustees are:
- Ms. Lindsey Grigg-Moak, City Clerk of the City of El Reno
- Ms. Vickie Patterson, City Manager of the City of Broken Bow
- Mr. Justin Battles, Assistant City Manager of the City of Mustang
- Mr. Tim Lyon, City Manager of the City of Midwest City
- Ms. Pam Polk, City Manager of the City of Durant
Any municipality that has adopted the Agreement Establishing OMAG may nominate up to two candidates using the nomination form below. OMAG must receive nominations by March 15 each year, and each nominee must be an elected or appointed official of an OMAG member municipality. The election is conducted by mail ballot in May; only nominated candidates appear on the ballot.
Your nomination must be:
- Submitted on the attached form,
- signed by the mayor, and
- attested to by the city clerk — then returned to OMAG by March 15, either by faxing (405) 657-1401, emailing elections@omag.org, or mailing the form.
