OMAG’s LELA Program is the Law Enforcement Liability Avoidance Training Series, an intensive professional development experience designed for select Oklahoma law enforcement personnel. It delivers in-depth, CLEET-accredited instruction on current legal challenges officers face, with practical, scenario-based sessions built around real-world case law, body-worn camera footage, and roundtable discussions.

The goal is to strengthen understanding of liability issues like Fourth Amendment topics, traffic stops, use of force, arrests, and post-incident review so agencies can protect their officers and communities more effectively. Successful participants earn continuing education credit and become part of the LELA alumni community.
