This course was developed as an introduction for the communications professional.  Topics include:  striving for excellence, stress management, and Open Records Act.  Other information provided during the course through instruction or printed materials:  prioritizing calls, communication center functions, basic functions of the dispatcher, chain of command, and the handling of various calls.  The course is approved for 4 hours of continuing education credit by CLEET.  There is no cost to attend the course.
