Wastewater Collection System Safety Training

This course has been accredited by Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality for four (4) hours of General Safety training.

Attention all municipal water/wastewater employees who need Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) approved safety training hours.  The DEQ approved course, Wastewater Collection System Safety, will be held February 15, 2017. It will be held at the Woodward Conference Center located 3401 Centennial Dr. in Woodward OK. Centennial is just off of 34th Street. The class starts promptly at 10:00 a.m. and lasts until 2:00 p.m.  Lunch will be provided. This is a “hands-on” course in which you will be able to observe different types of sewer cleaning nozzles and other related equipment in use.

This course is sponsored and presented by OMAG and Key Equipment and Supply.

The course instructors are Richey Kirkpatrick and Steve Williams of Key Equipment, located in Tulsa, OK. They have a combined 33 years of hands-on experience in all facets of wastewater systems.  If weather permits, they will demonstrate jetting machines and sewer nozzles in clear pipes so that you can see how the nozzles actually work. There will also be time for questions and answers regarding your existing equipment and new equipment as well.

Class size is limited so please pre-register so that we know how many lunches to provide.
