Attention all municipal water/wastewater employees who need Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) safety training hours. The DEQ approved course, Wastewater Collection System Safety, will be held September 28, 2016 in Checotah, OK. It will be held at the Checotah Community/Senior Center located at 611 North Broadway. The class starts promptly at 10:00 a.m. and lasts until 2:00 p.m. Lunch is also provided. This is a “hands-on” course in which you will be able to observe different types of sewer cleaning nozzles and other related equipment in use.
This course is sponsored and presented by OMAG and Key Equipment and Supply.
The course instructors are Richey Kirkpatrick and Steve Williams of Key Equipment, located in Tulsa, OK. They have a combined 32 years of hands-on experience in all facets of wastewater systems. They will demonstrate jetting machines and sewer nozzles in clear pipes so that you can see how the nozzles work. There will also be time for questions and answers regarding your existing equipment and new equipment as well.
