Attention all municipal water/wastewater employees who need Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) safety training hours.  The DEQ approved course, Wastewater Collection System Safety, will be held August 11, 2016, at the Western Technology Center in Elk City. Street address is 301 Western Drive, near the Route 66 Museum. The class starts promptly at 10:00 a.m. and lasts until 2:00 p.m.  and lunch is provided. This is a “hands-on” course in which you will be able to observe different types of sewer cleaning nozzles and other related equipment in use.
