This course was developed as an introduction for the communications professional. Topics include: striving for excellence, stress management, and Open Records Act. Other information provided during the course through instruction or printed materials: prioritizing calls, communication center functions, basic functions of the dispatcher, chain of command, and the handling of various calls.
