Submit an OGITA Conference Scholarship Application
The annual OGITA (Oklahoma Government Information Technology Association) Fall Educational Conference serves as an excellent venue for meeting IT leaders in State and Local government, networking with vendors and fellow IT staff, discovering new innovations by trusted partners, and fostering critical discussion on timely topics such as cybersecurity, disaster recovery, etc. The conference is a 2-day, 2-night conference and will be held in Midwest City September 28th and 29th, with a pre-conference reception scheduled for the evening of the 27th. All meals will be provided at no charge for the attendees by conference sponsors.
If you’ve never been able to attend, and even if you’re not an “official” computer person, but still help out your municipality with technology needs, we’d love to send you to the conference to learn and network. Don’t hesitate to request a scholarship!
OMAG will provide a reimbursement check to member municipal governments for the cost of 2 hotel nights and ground transportation for 1 staff member to attend from each OMAG member municipality awarded a scholarship. To submit a scholarship application, fill out the below form. OMAG will review the submissions and notify recipients of their award during the month of August. Scholarship applications are due by August 17th. Attendees will still need to register for the conference itself, and book a hotel room by visiting the OGITA conference website. Submission of a scholarship application does not commit the applicant to attendance, but scholarship recipients will be required to attend to receive the reimbursement, and will need to provide hotel receipts prior to reimbursement. This offer is for OMAG Plan Participants and member cities only.
